Bracket Installation Procedure

B1

Before you do anything, MAKE SURE YOU DISCONECT THE POWER TO YOUR PRUSA MINI. There should be no power connected to your PrusaMini while installing the bracket and handle.

Move the bed to the back of the printer.

B2

Remove the bed harness plastic cover.
(We are not touching the electrical connections; we are only removing the cover momentarily to have clearance in a later step.)

B3

Place the harness cover to the side. Do not discard the harness cover.

B4

Place two screws in the side bracket screw holes as shown.

B5

Holding the screws so they do not fall off, turn the bracket around and screw two t-nuts (loosely) to the screws as shown.

B6

Place two screws in the bottom bracket screw holes as shown.

B7

Holding the screws so they do not fall off, turn the bracket around and screw two t-nuts (loosely) to the screws as shown.

B8

Align the bracket as to seat the t-nuts into the grooves of the bottom and side aluminum extrusions as shown.

B9

Tighten the screws on the side upright aluminum extrusion first (shown in red). Then tighten the one screw on the bottom of the bracket in in the bottom aluminum extrusion (shown in yellow).

B10

Move the bed to the front of the printer.

B11

Using a 3mm ball end hex key tighten the last screw of the bracket as shown. Note that a ball end hex is needed due to the angle of how the screw is positioned relative to the bed.

B12

Re attach the heated bed cable harness housing. Note that the housing has a slide in feature and not a clip-on feature.

Finished!

Congratulations, you have finished mounting the handle and bracket. Enjoy!
